"Attending the NACAC Conference was a fantastic opportunity for me, not only for learning about new trends and tools in our field, but also networking with other professionals in higher education. By attending educational sessions, exploring the expo, joining meals with colleagues, and listening to a variety of keynote speakers, I was able to approach the fall recruitment season with a fresh perspective, as well as gain some new friends in the world of admissions and recruitment. The highlight of my time at NACAC was being recognized as this year's PNACAC Rising Star Award recipient. This award brought me the unique opportunity to attend the Affiliate Presidents Lunch, the NEXT meeting, and even more important, allowed me to connect professionally and personally with several other Rising Star Award recipients from other affiliate ACACs around the country. I came away from NACAC feeling emboldened by the importance of our roles in the world of education, as well as encouraged by the recognition I received from acquaintances and strangers alike. Without the support of PNACAC, I likely would not have had the ability to attend a NACAC Conference. I'm grateful for the unique and memorable opportunity to attend such a large-scale conference in a city I've never been to before!"

“As a public high school counselor, attending NACAC is an incredible opportunity to further my knowledge and gain insight to help my students and families. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to connect and network with so many admissions professionals.”

"One of the biggest benefits of the NEXT program was the opportunity to build relationships with professionals from institutions across the country. While the presentations offered valuable insights, I especially appreciated the small group discussions after each session. Those conversations gave us the chance to share ideas, ask questions, and learn how different institutions approach similar challenges.
I also appreciated the emphasis on building connections beyond the program itself. The introduction of the mentorship program and the focus on creating an ongoing professional network made NEXT feel like more than just a professional development program. It's encouraging to know those relationships can continue to grow, and I'm looking forward to participating in the mentorship program as it evolves!
I'm grateful to PNACAC for sponsoring my participation in NEXT! The experience helped me expand my professional network, gain new perspectives, and feel even more connected to the admissions community."
