For those who work at not-for-profit, accredited, degree-granting colleges, universities, community colleges, and other post-secondary institutions.
*Note: This membership type is extended to employees of not-for-profit, accredited, degree-granting colleges/universities outside of the PNACAC region who are regionally based in the PNACAC region, primarily serve the PNACAC region, and do not hold voting privileges in another state or regional NACAC Affiliate. (i.e. Regional Admissions Reps)
For those who work at a specific public school and provide counseling and guidance to students regarding post-secondary planning in the PNACAC region.
For those who work at a specific private/independent school and provide counseling and guidance to students regarding post-secondary planning in the PNACAC region.
For employees of districts/systems with primary offices not located in Primary or Secondary Schools. This may include individuals who provide counselor supervision and/or counselor advocacy to support counselors working in specific school buildings, as well as those on special assignment who provide program facilitation or district-wide/system-wide counseling and guidance within schools in the PNACAC region.
*Note: Districts who employ school counselors within Primary or Secondary School buildings should have each building apply for an organization/group membership under the appropriate Primary and Secondary School membership type.
Organizations which provide counseling, admission, or financial aid services only to students at the state or local level on an on-going basis. Organizations will be asked to confirm non-profit status, that they have been in business for at least 3 years, provide direct service to students for free, do not award diplomas, and can provide their website during the application process.
Organizations with primary activities that consist of working on a multi-state, national or international level and providing counseling, admission, or financial aid services to students or to the college admission counseling or financial aid professions. Organizations will be asked to confirm non-profit status, that they have been in business for at least 3 years, provide direct service to students for free, do not award diplomas, and can provide their website during the application process.
IECs/counselors at companies, organizations, or agencies who provide services to students or their parents, and/or who are self-employed within the PNACAC region.

Retirees actively involved in serving the PNACAC region.
For Past-Presidents of PNACAC who are NOT currently affiliated with a voting member eligible institution.

For-profit organizations that provide products and/or services to the counseling, admission, or financial aid professions or in support of students in the transition to postsecondary education.
Individuals who were recently, but are no longer, employed at a voting member institution or organization during the current or immediately preceding membership year.
Graduate Students
Students seeking careers in counseling, admission, or financial aid services
Individuals who provide teaching or training to professionals who work with students in the transition to postsecondary education, and are employed in a post-baccalaureate or graduate program at an accredited, not-for-profit, degree-granting postsecondary institution.
Individuals who are employed by NACAC affiliates.
Honorary membership may be conferred upon individuals at the discretion of the Executive Board.
