College Fairs

PNACAC Fall College Fairs

PNACAC invites any Title IV eligible and accredited college, university, other post-secondary institution, or program offering curricular study leading to a degree or diploma to participate in the PNACAC College Fair Program.  International universities that offer academic degrees or diplomas that are sanctioned by the country's Ministry of Higher Education or by US accrediting associations are also eligible to participate.  Non-profit, CBO, state or federal grant supported programs with a primary mission of promoting college enrollment and who are approved in advanced by the Executive Board may be granted limited participation on a case by case basis.

Institutions participating in the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling fairs agree to comply with the SPGP:  NACAC's Code of Ethics and Professional Practices.

Registration Fees:

  • Early Bird (July 17 - August 31): $225 per table, including StriveScan, per fair.
  • Regular (September 1 - September 19):  $250 per table, including StriveScan, per fair.
  • Refunds:  50% refund prior to September 10. No refunds after September 11, 2018.

PNACAC is excited to partner with StriveScan to provide student scanning technology at our regional college fairs. The cost of using StriveScan is included in all PNACAC fair registrations; there is no need to purchase additional access codes or scanners. For more information, we recommend watching the two-minute intro video at www.strivescan.com.

  • Colleges registered for PNACAC fairs will receive information from StriveScan on how to create an account, download their app, and start scanning student barcodes on their iPhone, Android, or iPad (no other device needed!). Reps can instantly view the student's profile information and take notes right in the app. After the fair, reps export the student data with one click, instantly, to aStriveScan CSV Excel file. If you have multiple reps attending from the same institution, both can scan from their own phones.
  • Students attending the fairs go to the registration page at www.strivefair.com and fill out a quick form on their phone or computer (in advance or at the door). When they sign up, StriveScan sends them a barcode via text message and email. The next day, students receive an email with a report on of all of the colleges and representatives they met along with their contact information and social media profiles.

2018 Fall NACAC and PVA College Fairs

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) sponsors the following National and Performing and Visual Arts College Fairs in the Pacific Northwest. Additional information can be found at nacacfairs.org. Students can pre-register for the college fairs at gotomyncf.com. By doing so, students and parents will receive a personalized barcode with their contact and academic information that they can print and bring to the fairs. When colleges and universities scan their barcode, they retrieve the information and are able to follow up with students after the fair. This saves the time of filling out individual information cards, thus allowing students to visit more booths during the fair.
