The PNACAC Summer Solstice Tour is a professional development opportunity for high school counselors, independent consultants working with high school students, and graduate students earning a degree in high school counseling to learn more about colleges in Alaska.

Participating institutions:

  • Alaska Pacific University
  • University of Alaska Anchorage
  • University of Alaska Fairbanks
  • University of Alaska Southeast

Participants will learn about each institution’s unique programs as we meet faculty, staff, and students. Participants should expect full days, and walking tours on each campus.

If you’ve previously participated on a PNACAC tour and plan to join us in Alaska, you’re in for a treat as we visit The Last Frontier - this tour will be unique! It involves two flights within Alaska (included in your registration fee) and more free time in each city than is typical on a PNACAC tour. Not only will you get to learn about the colleges, you’ll also have a chance to do some exploration in Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks. See below for more details.

Scholarship Opportunity

We are excited to offer up to four scholarships for this tour. Learn more!

Registration Details

Space is limited and seats will not be confirmed without full payment. Half of the seats on the tour (12) will be reserved for public high school counselors and community college advisors until March 2021. Afterwards, additional seats will be opened to independent and private school counselors. See below for more fee details and deadlines.
