PNACAC Summer Institute Logo

This three-day, two-night event is geared toward admissions professionals with up to three years of experience in admissions counseling. The Summer Institute includes an introduction to Admissions and Enrollment Management, sessions on relevant topics for newer admission professionals, and networking opportunities.

The Summer Institute will be held concurrently with the PNACAC Middle Management Institute from July 24-26, 2024 at the University of Portland, in Portland, Oregon.

Program registration fee includes accommodations: Single room with shared bathroom, linens provided. Meals are included.

 *We are allowing institutions to register for a seat before they have identified who will attend, in order to meet early bird pricing deadlines. To do so, select "Register Guest" and enter "TBD" for first and last names. Enter your email address (or someone your office who will be responsible for confirming attendance). We will then confirm final contact information no later than July 10. No refunds will be provided after July 10, though registration may be transferred to another person in your office.

Refund Policy: Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to PNACAC at [email protected] no later than July 10, 2024. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from the cost of your registration.

Scholarships to Attend

PNACAC is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to make these programs accessible to a wider range of members. This scholarship will cover the registration fee, which includes lodging on campus and meals during the program. You will be responsible for travel to and from the University of Portland and any other expenses.

Staff working in college admissions offices with approximately 0-3 years of experience as recruitment professionals.

What is the format?

A combination of:

  • Interactive workshops
  • Panel discussions
  • Self- and group-reflection
  • Informal discussion and networking (including MMI attendees)
  • A dedicated Slack channel just for your cohort to continue conversations after the Institute
