Scholarships for Students

The Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC) is pleased to offer scholarships to students in our region! Multiple students who attend school in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington will be selected for one-time, non-renewable scholarships ranging from $500-$1000. Students from diverse backgrounds and all family income backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply for the Fall 2019 Student Scholarship was March 1, 2019.

 

Scholarships & Grants for Counseling Professionals

Guiding the Way to Inclusion Scholarship

Guiding the Way to Inclusion (GWI) is a three-day professional development workshop designed for college admission professionals that work with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The scholarship was for professionals with 0-5 years experience. The 2019 GWI Conference will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, July 28 - 31, 2019. 

GWI offers enrollment and admission professionals an opportunity to explore issues pertaining to campus diversity and multicultural recruitment. The workshop promotes in-depth understanding of college enrollment processes, as well as personal and professional growth.  Read more on the GWI FAQ Sheet.

The PNACAC Scholarship to attend will cover:

  • Conference Registration at the NACAC member rate
  • Half of airfare cost
  • Half of hotel cost

NEW! PNACAC Professional Development Mini-Grants are intended to provide individuals/groups funding to organize events or other programming to offer professional development opportunities for staff within the PNACAC five state region (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington). Examples of ways in which funding may be used include but are not limited to: refreshments, venue costs, technology, or supplies. Funding may not be used to cover conference registrations or travel related expenses. Learn more and apply now!
