Scholarships for Students

The Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC) is pleased to offer scholarships to students in our region! Multiple students who attend school in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington will be selected for one-time, non-renewable scholarships ranging from $500-$1000. Students from diverse backgrounds and all family income backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply for the Fall 2019 Student Scholarship is March 1, 2019.



Scholarships & Grants for Counseling Professionals

PNACAC Scholarship to attend NACAC's Legislative Action Meeting in Washington D.C., March 3 and 4, 2019.

NACAC's Legislative Action Meeting is a great opportunity to learn about the public policies that shape college access for the students we serve. In addition to learning about the pressing policy issues with which NACAC is involved at the federal and state levels, all attendees will spend Monday, March 4, on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. meeting with staffers and/or elected representatives to advocate for equitable access to postsecondary education. Any member of PNACAC is welcome to attend the Legislative Action Meeting. We invite you to apply for a scholarship if you would like to attend this event but do not have the organizational or institutional support to do so. The scholarship will cover the costs of:

  • Registration fee
  • Transportation to and from Washington D.C.
  • Lodging for March 2 and 3 for the meetings (March 3) and Hill Day (March 4)
  • Meals while attending the meetings and Hill Day

The scholarship application is now closed. We will notify all applicants about scholarship awards the week of January 21. The number of scholarships awarded will depend on the number of applicants.




NEW! PNACAC Professional Development Mini-Grants are intended to provide individuals/groups funding to organize events or other programming to offer professional development opportunities for staff within the PNACAC five state region (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington). Examples of ways in which funding may be used include but are not limited to: refreshments, venue costs, technology, or supplies. Funding may not be used to cover conference registrations or travel related expenses. Learn more and apply now!
