PNACAC Professional Development Mini-GrantsPurposePNACAC Professional Development Mini-Grants are intended to provide individuals/groups funding to organize events or other programming to offer professional development opportunities for staff within the PNACAC five state region (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington). To increase access to professional development for the member region, the mini-grant should support the PNACAC Strategic Plan. PNACAC Strategic Plan Professional Development Goals:
Examples of ways in which grants may be used include but are not limited to: refreshments, venue costs, technology, or supplies. Funding may not be used to cover conference registrations or travel related expenses. EligibilityMini-grants are open to PNACAC members and individuals eligible for PNACAC membership. You do not have to be a member of PNACAC to apply for a mini-grant, though membership is encouraged. Award DetailsThe maximum award amount for a mini-grant is $500. Awardees will be reimbursed for their expenses at the conclusion of their event. If awarded, additional information will be shared about the reimbursement process. Mini-grants will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Deadlines
Selected applicants will be asked to use their funds within the fiscal year (July-June) in which they are awarded. Selection ProcessSubmissions will be reviewed by the Professional Development Co-Chairs and their committee. Proposals will be judged primarily on the following: relationship to the Strategic Plan, rationale for the project, intended outcome, population served, feasibility of completing the project with the requested budget and other resources (if applicable). Recipients will be asked to provide a summary of their project for the PNACAC newsletter once completed, prior to reimbursement.
