Wednesday, May 17

Pre-Conference Events

8:00 a.m. - Noon, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Workshop
Run in conjunction with the annual conference, the IDEA Workshop provides strategies to those who work with students from underrepresented populations. All attendees are welcome to attend. This year's workshop will focus on race and ethnicity in higher education and best practices to support transitions for underrepresented populations. No additional charge.

9:30 a.m. - Noon, Boise Greenbelt Bike Tour
The nine-mile bike ride along the Boise River Greenbelt will last roughly two hours with a lunch stop. The tour will begin at the home of the famous Boise State Broncos and take a mini tour of campus before joining the tree-lined path along the Boise River through the heart of the city. Bike rental is available from the BSU Bike Shop for $10. Questions? Contact Kellen Willis.

7:30 - 9:30 a.m., Table Rock Hike
Do you want to check this urban trail off your Idaho bucket list and see a beautiful vista of the Treasure Valley? Either meet at the trail head at 7:30 a.m. or 7:00 for a ride from campus. No additional charge. Questions, or need a ride? Contact Katie Price.

Golf Tournament
This year's PNACAC Golf Tournament will visit Quail Hollow Golf Course. A challenging course with strategically placed hazards, elevation changes, and sloped greens, this 18-hole par 70 has a course rating of 70.7 and a slope rating of 129. Greens fees with cart will run around $30, payable at the course. Questions? Contact Kellen Willis.

Would you like to visit any of the Treasure Valley colleges? Three official tours will take place on the final afternoon. Please plan to stay a few hours after the conclusion of the conference to gain important knowledge about Boise's local college options. All college tours require a refundable deposit of $25. This deposit will be refunded as long as you attend the college tour you have signed up for or you cancel attendance by noon on Friday, May 12th. Tours will begin at 12:30 p.m. and transportation will be included to and from campus, and also to the airport.

1:00 p.m., Boise State University College of Engineering Tour
